Edgar & Ellen and Terracycle - an organic liquid plant food made from worm poop - are encouraging everyone to pitch in and recycle.

Edgar & Ellen are the official spokes-characters of Terracycle's Bottle Brigade program.

Terracycle plant food is made completely from waste and the Bottle Brigade helps collect the bottles used for packaging.

The Bottle Brigade has rescued over 1 million bottles from ending up in a landfill.




  • Kids recycle 20 oz bottles via in-school box program.
  • Bottles are sent to Terracycle and cleaned/packaged
  • Kids add name to the front and recycling ideas to the back.
  • Tags are sent to Terracycle.
  • Bottle Brigade tags only seen on Target shelves.
  • Schools receive 5 ¢ per bottle.
